Amazing, incredible awesome testimony …
This is an incredible story and testimony of faith … an account of an arresting penetrating encounter with the profound inimitable love of God …
Her journey from there through, as it were, the valley of the shadow of death …
It’s an invaluable story of suffering for loving the Lord Jesus Christ. A story of a woman counted in the roster of the Muslim ummah, for the same sole reason countless in that ummah are: not by choice, not by conviction, but for simply having been born into a nation governed by Islamic law.
Once so born -- because according to Islamic foundational texts, all born, irrespective of where, all are born Muslims. Only later in life, for whatever reasons, one leaves the fold of Islam, changes their religion – when one leaves the fold of Islam, changes their religion, then for such one is then subject to the judgement of Shariah law.
And for her, once arrested for her Christian faith, charged with the charge of apostacy from Islam, the judgement rendered her for that charge was guilty. The verdict, death by hanging.
The masses of the lost and prisoners in Islam need our love, our prayers, our cares …
Countless in the ummah of “Muhammad” are there only by threat of the edge of the sword. Born into Islam. Held captive there by the threat of the penalty of leaving Islam. Foolishly called Moderate Muslims by a world largely terrified to state the facts of the foundational texts of Islam.
Because so stating also comes with warnings and promises of sever penalty …
Be that as it may, as said, the masses lost and imprisoned in Islam need our prayers, our hearts, our courage, our voices …
Above all else they need the love of God …
The love of God is greater far
than tongue or pen can ever tell;
it goes beyond the highest star,
and reaches to the lowest hell.
The wand'ring child is reconciled
by God's beloved Son.
The aching soul again made whole,
and priceless pardon won.O love of God, how rich and pure!
How measureless and strong!
It shall forevermore endure—
the saints’ and angels’ song.When ancient time shall pass away,
and human thrones and kingdoms fall;
when those who here refuse to pray
on rocks and hills and mountains call;
God’s love so sure, shall still endure,
all measureless and strong;
grace will resound the whole earth round—
the saints’ and angels’ song. [Refrain]Could we with ink the ocean fill,
and were the skies of parchment made;
were ev’ry stalk on earth a quill,
and ev’ryone a scribe by trade;
to write the love of God above
would drain the ocean dry;
nor could the scroll contain the whole,
though stretched from sky to sky.O love of God, how rich and pure!
How measureless and strong!
It shall forevermore endure—
the saints’ and angels’ song.
